Property Management Staff in a Quzhou Residential Quarter Apprehended Two Theft Suspects with Precise Prevention and Control Measures and Swift Action
Recently, the Quzhou Chengzhan Police Station extended its heartfelt gratitude and high esteem to the Binjiang Property team at Honor Signature, a residential quarter in Quzhou, for their outstanding contribution to jointly building a safe community. In late August, the property management staff noticed two theft suspects during a routine patrol and, through close collaboration between monitoring and patrol personnel, successfully apprehended and transferred the suspects to the Chengzhan Police Station, effectively safeguarding the lives and property of residents and earning praise from residents.
The east motor vehicle passage at the south gate of Quzhou Honor Signature is far away from the sentry box, creating a visual blind spot. To enhance safety control, Binjiang Property’s Quzhou Branch has instructed all projects in Quzhou to closely monitor entrances and exits of underground garages as well as main and secondary roads within them.
The property service center of Quzhou Honor Signature strictly adheres to such instructions, increasing the patrol frequency at the key location of the east motor vehicle passage at the south gate and enhancing crime drills. As expected, these enhanced security measures have recently demonstrated their critical importance.
On August 25th, at around 1:00 am, Zheng Xiuxiang, a security monitor on duty at that time, spotted two suspicious individuals entering the underground garage through the main surveillance screen. To avoid alerting them, the fire control officer didn’t use the intercom but phoned the patroller Xu Long immediately. Xu Long soon arrived and found that the two suspicious individuals were trying to open the car doors one by one, intending to commit theft.
After learning the situation from the patroller Xu Long, the fire control officer called the police and instructed sentries at all entrances to stay alert. At such a critical moment, the patrol, sentry, fire control, and monitoring personnel demonstrated seamless collaboration and strong execution. While the first suspect hiding in a corner of the underground garage was caught by Xu Long, another suspect, as he attempted to escape from the east entrance of the underground garage, was caught red-handed by Yang Wenxu waiting there. The two suspects were restrained and later taken back to the police station by the police who soon arrived at the residential quarter.
